Preschool Teacher

Room #01

Welcome to Mrs. Snyder’s Preschool!

Beginning preschool is a very exciting time, but it can also be very intimidating for you and your child.  Your little one will be away from home alone, possibly for the first time.  You will surely be thinking about them all day while they are gone.  My teaching assistant and I want to assure you that they will be in good hands, and we will keep your child safe, engaged and happy to the best of our ability.

Our #1 goal in preschool is to assure that your child loves school!

This year, I welcome Mrs. Carol Price to share my classroom as my teaching assistant for our second year together  She has been working in Bellmawr for some time, and I am so happy to have her back with me!  We are very much looking forward to getting to know your family, especially your little preschooler!  I will start by giving you a little background on myself.  My name is Mrs. Susan Snyder.  I have taught preschool in Bellmawr for 17 years.  I started my educational journey as a little five year old girl on my first day of kindergarten in this very same classroom!  I attended Bellmawr Park as a child, went on to Bell Oaks and Triton, and graduated from Rowan University, School of Education.  I hold NJ state certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and I have had additional coursework in Early Childhood.

I have been married for 25 years to my best friend, Bob. We have two awesome children; our daughter Darby is 18 and a freshman in college, and our son Brady is 15 and a freshman in high school.  My family loves all things Disney, and a good portion of our home décor is Disney themed!

My teaching style is influenced by Disney as well.

It’s summed up in a few of Walt’s quotes:

Embrace diversity:                                                                                                      “The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.”

Explore your world:                                                                                                    “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Build self-confidence:                                                                                             “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

Looking forward to teaching your unique, curious, and courageous little dreamers.
