Creative Curriculum

     Teaching Strategies GOLD® blends ongoing, authentic, observational assessment across all areas of development and learning with intentional, focused, performance-assessment tasks for selected literacy and numeracy objectives. Teachers collect evidence of children’s knowledge, skills, and behaviors during meaningful everyday experiences in the program setting. The system is inclusive of children with disabilities, children who are developing typically, and children who demonstrate competencies beyond typical developmental expectations. It also supports the assessment of children who are English- and dual-language learners.
